FAQ about TOSS Tattoos
1. How do Toss tattoos work?
Toss tattoos use plant-based, vegan ink that reacts with the proteins in your skin. Once applied, the ink gradually darkens over 24–48 hours, resulting in a soft, matte finish that looks like a real tattoo. The tattoo naturally fades over 7–21 days as your skin regenerates, depending on your skin type and where it’s placed.
2. Will it look real?
Toss tattoos have a soft-matte finish with no shine or gloss. Once developed, they blend naturally into your skin and resemble a real, healed tattoo.
3. How long does it last?
The tattoo lasts approximately 7–21 days, depending on:
- Placement (areas with friction may fade faster)
- Skin type and oiliness
- Aftercare and daily activities
4. Is it waterproof?
Yes! Once the tattoo has fully developed (after 6–8 hours), it’s waterproof and sweat-resistant. You can shower, swim, or hit the gym — no problem.
5. Is it safe for my skin?
Toss tattoos are made with plant-based, cruelty-free ink and cosmetic-grade ingredients. They’ve been dermatologically tested on real people — never animals.
However, skin is personal. If you have sensitive skin or a history of allergic reactions, we strongly recommend doing a patch test before full application. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and consult a doctor when necessary.
6. How do I apply and remove it?
It’s simple. No needles, no commitment, just:
Pick your spot.
Choose clean, smooth skin — flat areas work best.
Clean the area.
Wash thoroughly and dry. Shave for a better result.
Peel and place.
Remove the protective plastic film. Stick the tattoo firmly onto your skin, backing paper side up.
Wet the backing.
Use a wet towel or sponge to fully soak the backing paper. Wait 20 seconds. No peeking, no shifting.
Slide it off.
Gently slide off the backing paper — don’t peel. The design may look faint or invisible at first.
Let it develop.
The tattoo will darken over 24–48 hours. Do not touch, rub, wash or moisturize during the first 6 hours.

Do not scrub to remove.
If something goes wrong during application, you can gently wash the tattoo off immediately before it begins to develop. Once the tattoo has set, we do not recommend scrubbing, as this may irritate your skin. Toss tattoos are designed to fade naturally as your skin renews over time.
7. Any tips for better results?
- Apply to flat areas like forearms, back, chest or thighs.
- Avoid sweating, showering, or stretching the area for at least 6 hours.
- Place tattoo on smooth, flat areas of skin that will have little movement during the first 2 hours after application.
- Wear loose clothing on the first night to prevent smudging or ink transfer.
8. What if it didn’t turn out as expected?
We totally understand — results can vary based on skin condition, body temperature, and application technique. If your tattoo:
- Arrived in good condition,
- Was applied correctly following our instructions,
- But the results were still unsatisfactory,
please contact our support team via support@tossstudio.com, we will arrange a 60% refund of the product price as appropriate. Shipping cost is non-refundable.
9. Can I apply it on any skin?
Healthier skin brings better tattoo result. We advise not applying tattoos to:
- Broken or irritated skin
- Sunburned areas
- Very dry skin
- Sensitive areas prone to friction
If you experience redness, itching, or discomfort, stop using immediately and consult a doctor when necessary.
10. Is this suitable for kids?
Toss tattoos are designed for external use only and should be kept out of reach of children.
